This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Create and sustain components and features for our three-tier applications.
• Continuously enhance the installability, portability, scalability, and serviceability of our products.
• Provide reusable application components that enable the organization to monitor and manage our backend services.
• Maintain consistency in the application of our framework.
• Oversee and further develop framework components, including the Application Server Framework and Kubernetes Framework.
• Conduct software design and architecture evaluations to assess and refine designs.
• Collaborate with both local and international product teams.
• Provide third-level support for complex customer issues.
• Ensure regular reporting regarding status and progress.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or information systems, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
• Several years of experience in software development is advantageous.
• Demonstrated expertise and strong knowledge in Java backend programming, JPA, and SQL.
• Proficient in at least three of the following technologies: Jakarta Enterprise, Kubernetes, Docker, JBoss, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Experience in software design, planning, and concept development.
• Previous experience in hospital workflows is beneficial, or a strong willingness to understand them deeply.
