This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop robust, scalable, and efficient applications while managing and optimizing infrastructures.
• Create, code, test, and maintain applications utilizing Java, collaborating with user requirements, system architecture, database integration, and troubleshooting, with an emphasis on ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with business goals.
• Strong skills in both back-end and front-end development.
• Expertise in Java (Quarkus), Spring Boot Framework, Maven, EJB, WebLogic, Node.js, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and Hive.
• Understanding of DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF), Extreme Programming (XP), and Lean manufacturing.
• Concepts of distributed computing and microservices.
• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and Rancher.
• Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters and their associated features.
• Experience with Docker containers.
• Familiarity with continuous delivery processes and tools such as CI/CD (Jenkins and Argo).
• Experience with public cloud platforms including IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS.
• Ability to build cloud environment monitoring systems using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Proficiency in codebase and build management.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitLab.
