This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Serve as the technical leader for the squad, responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive solutions from backend to frontend.
• Ensure the team delivers continuously in an agile manner, facilitating the validation of experiments and rapid iteration while upholding quality standards.
• Create scalable solutions that enhance performance on both frontend and backend systems.
• Work in collaboration with the Product Manager, Designers, and other stakeholders to synchronize business requirements with engineering best practices.
• Establish and adhere to coding best practices, including automated testing, code reviews, and secure deployment methodologies.
• Build integrations with tools and APIs that facilitate data analysis and support growth experiments.
• Assist the team in designing and executing experiments and A/B tests, emphasizing quick improvements and ongoing learning.
• Partner with other squads to execute and expand successful initiatives throughout Astrea.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of robust experience as a fullstack developer, with extensive knowledge of backend languages (Java and Kotlin) and frontend technologies (Angular, React, CSS-in-JS, and semantic HTML).
• Experience in designing scalable architectures, including microservices and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with agile work environments and methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban to ensure continuous value delivery.
• Understanding of integrations with data analytics and growth tools, including Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication and technical leadership skills, with a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Git.
• A self-motivated and proactive individual.
• Preferred: experience in A/B testing and continuous experimentation methodologies for swift solution validation.
