Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer – Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for designing financial systems that facilitate a large-scale global energy transition.

• By creating robust payment solutions and smooth checkout experiences, you will ensure that the adoption of sustainable energy is both effortless and memorable.

• As a Software Engineer at 1KOMMA5°, you will assume technical ownership of vital systems and features, make architectural decisions, and guarantee scalability, reliability, and performance.

• You will collaborate closely with fellow engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to influence our technical strategy and deliver high-impact solutions.

• Alongside writing exceptional code, you will mentor peers, promote engineering excellence, and contribute to enhancing our development and deployment practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in creating maintainable, reusable, and testable code in TypeScript, with strong expertise in both frontend frameworks and backend technologies.

• A solid understanding of API design, data modeling, and system integration (RESTful or GraphQL).

• Demonstrated capability to manage features from start to finish, encompassing UX, architecture, deployment, and monitoring.

• A practical, product-oriented mindset that harmonizes technical excellence with delivering customer value.

• A willingness to explore new tools and methods that enhance product quality and engineering efficiency.

• Exceptional written and spoken English proficiency.

• Must reside in Germany.
