Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer – Infrastructure/DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee AWS GovCloud environments entirely utilizing AWS CDK (TypeScript).

• Implement compliance regulations (cdk-nag NIST packs) from the initial stack.

• Manage networking, compute resources, data storage, and secrets.

• Architect GitHub Actions to perform affected-only builds and utilize remote caching.

• Set up merge queues and test sharding processes.

• Maintain a stringent latency budget on PR gates to ensure efficiency.

• Create "Compliance as a build artifact" whereby pipeline gates are directly linked to NIST controls.

• Automate the generation of security-authorization evidence for government compliance.

• Oversee a dual-scan delivery pipeline for signed artifacts and provenance.

• Implement CAC/ICAM-integrated identity and mutual TLS (mTLS).

• Develop policy-as-code authorization and continuous posture monitoring systems.

• Take ownership of all merged code, ensuring that agent output meets production-grade quality.

• Enhance the team's versioned engineering "harness" and guidelines.

• Troubleshoot flakiness across the stack, from application code to database schemas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Clearance: Must be eligible for a US Secret security clearance.

• A minimum of 7 years experience in building and operating production cloud platforms.

• Proficiency in Agentic AI: Practical experience with agentic AI development tools (Codex, Claude Code, or similar) on live codebases.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and AWS CDK.

• Solid software engineering experience in Node.js and PostgreSQL/Prisma.

• Familiarity with container orchestration (EKS/ECS).

• Compliance Experience: Proven history of managing cloud infrastructure for products in DoD IL4 or equivalent high-security settings.
