Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – Infrastructure Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage comprehensive software platforms that support enterprise infrastructure and operations teams.

• Spearhead the technical architecture of systems designed to ingest, process, analyze, and present infrastructure and operational data at scale.

• Create backend services and APIs for efficient data collection, enrichment, and querying.

• Construct and sustain web interfaces featuring advanced search capabilities, filtering options, and user-friendly designs tailored for technical users.

• Conceptualize and execute ETL and data processing pipelines for structured and semi-structured data sources.

• Guarantee that applications are entirely containerized and ready for production utilizing Docker and Kubernetes deployment strategies.

• Serve as a technical authority on system design, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, security, and product stakeholders to develop solutions aligned with the long-term platform strategy.

• Establish and maintain engineering best practices concerning testing, code quality, documentation, and operational readiness.

• Review team designs and code, offering clear guidance and enhancing the overall technical standard.

• Identify systemic challenges, mitigate technical debt, and proactively enhance platform scalability and developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive background as a Staff or Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with experience in complex, production-level systems.

• Demonstrated capability to operate autonomously in ambiguous problem contexts and drive solutions to fruition.

• Robust backend engineering expertise, including API design and development of data-intensive services.

• Experience in creating data-driven applications encompassing ingestion, transformation, and analysis.

• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as C#, Python, Go, or Java.

• Strong SQL abilities and familiarity with relational database systems.

• Practical experience with Docker and the delivery of containerized applications.

• Comprehensive understanding of distributed systems principles and cloud-native application architecture.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and contemporary software development practices.

• Exceptional technical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to influence without formal authority.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Typically 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, showcasing ownership of significant or critical systems.
