Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the entire application lifecycle, including backend APIs, frontend UI, database schema, CI/CD pipelines, and production infrastructure on AWS.

• Design, develop, and deploy new features for both the Java/Spring Boot backend and the Angular frontend.

• Oversee and enhance our PostgreSQL database, focusing on schema migrations (Liquibase), query performance optimization, and maintaining data integrity.

• Sustain and upgrade AWS infrastructure, managing services such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and others.

• Work closely with the founder to convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Enhance code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, refactoring, and comprehensive documentation.

• Quickly and thoroughly troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

• Assess and integrate modern tools, frameworks, and practices to ensure the platform remains competitive.

• Utilize AI-powered development tools (such as Claude and GitHub Copilot) to expedite delivery and enhance code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong expertise in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem, including Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.

• Solid front-end proficiency with Angular, including TypeScript, RxJS, and component architecture.

• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, focusing on schema design, migrations, and query optimization.

• Practical knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and IAM, or equivalent cloud platforms.

• Comfortable working across the entire tech stack and taking ownership of infrastructure alongside application code.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective daily collaboration.

• Self-motivated and proactive; you take initiative, identify issues early, and do not wait for direction.

• Available during US business hours, preferably Central Time, but flexible within the Americas.
