
Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Design, develop, and deploy production-level systems from start to finish - encompassing frontend, backend, infrastructure, and the operational elements in between - ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.
β’ Take ownership of technical decisions regarding architecture, cloud infrastructure, observability, deployment, and security for the projects you oversee.
β’ Write secure, resilient, and thoroughly tested code, while maintaining high standards during code reviews for your colleagues.
β’ Troubleshoot complex issues - including production incidents, performance regressions, concurrency bugs, and peculiarities of distributed systems - and document your findings to strengthen the team.
β’ Create prototypes and proofs of concept to quickly learn (within hours, not days), validate ideas, and mitigate risks associated with technical decisions prior to committing to a course of action.
β’ Mentor colleagues and act as a sounding board for challenging technical issues, enhancing the skills of those around you.
β’ Investigate new technologies and tools, contributing to the refinement of team processes and engineering practices to achieve excellence.
β’ Provide preliminary effort estimates and technical scopes for new opportunities, and at times assist in presenting technical options to client stakeholders.
β’ Proficient in systems architecture and design - capable of architecting new systems from the ground up and assessing trade-offs at the system level.
β’ AI-native, with skills that extend well beyond basic coding.
β’ Able to serve as a mentoring resource for teammates. You create documentation, diagrams, and walkthroughs that enhance team intelligence.
β’ Strong full-stack development skills: Web UX/UI, REST APIs, backend development, database modeling, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
β’ Experience in client-facing roles with excellent presentation and communication abilities.
β’ Competent in requirements gathering and both technical and non-technical documentation.
β’ Familiar with ALM tools (Jira, ClickUp, Git, etc.) and agile methodologies, including scrum and backlog management.
β’ Self-motivated, dynamic, and a remarkable problem solver.
β’ Capable of deriving lessons from both successes and setbacks while maintaining a positive outlook.
β’ Strong understanding of web performance, both on-page and external (including CDN and caching).
β’ Experience with automated testing for both backend and frontend components.
β’ Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems management, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
