Senior Full Stack Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Identify and implement enhancements to the codebase that facilitate swift and secure operations for both developers and AI agents.

• Collaborate with a team of senior engineers in an environment characterized by low processes, trust, and autonomy.

• Lead decision-making and consensus-building asynchronously through comprehensive documentation and specifications.

• Develop new features comprehensively, from user experience to database integration. Deliver quickly, learn rapidly, and iterate.

• Design scalable solutions and foundational frameworks that enable efficient launches of new partner experiences.

• Work closely with project managers and business stakeholders to outline and refine our strategic roadmap, ensuring your insights and technical vision are valued.

• Engage with a diverse team, providing and receiving constructive feedback to foster personal and professional growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing the guardrails and feedback mechanisms that ensure productivity and reliability in AI-assisted development.

• Ability to clearly articulate not just the methods for solving problems, but also the rationale and trade-offs involved.

• Strong product-oriented mindset — your understanding of quality and architecture is rooted in the customer experience rather than mere technical sophistication.

• An inherent motivation to confidently explore unfamiliar codebases and deliver quick results.

• Capability to guide AI agents and automated workflows in constructing and maintaining intricate systems, along with the discernment to know when to intervene and when to allow them to operate independently.

• Experience with, or a strong willingness to master, distributed system development using Scala.
