Senior Full Stack Engineer, UI Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain full stack applications with a strong emphasis on user interfaces.

• Create high-quality, responsive, and efficient frontend interfaces.

• Develop and scale backend APIs and services.

• Convert product and design specifications into seamless user experiences.

• Take complete ownership of features from data modeling to frontend delivery.

• Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

• Enhance performance across both frontend (UX, rendering) and backend systems.

• Establish monitoring, logging, and observability practices.

• Utilize AI tools to expedite development without compromising quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong communication skills in English are essential.

• Proficient in React with TypeScript at an expert level.

• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and their implementation in design.

• Experience in performance optimization (rendering, lazy loading, code splitting).

• Capability to create clean, scalable, and maintainable UI components.

• Extensive experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

• In-depth knowledge of APIs, asynchronous patterns, and system performance.

• Ability to independently design, develop, and deploy complete features.

• Practical experience with AWS (Lambda, EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.).

• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) in production settings.

• Proficient SQL skills (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB/DynamoDB).

• Familiarity with caching solutions such as Redis.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Strong grasp of security principles (OWASP, SOC2/ISO fundamentals).

• Commitment to code quality, including testing, linting, and documentation.

• Ability to contribute to architectural decisions.

• Strong emphasis on frontend performance and user experience.

• Experience in optimizing Core Web Vitals, bundle size, and rendering efficiency.

• Familiarity with observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing).

• Capability to review and validate AI-generated code.

• Experience in rapidly prototyping full stack solutions utilizing AI.

• Collaborative mindset with a track record of working in cross-functional teams.

• Ability to mentor fellow engineers.
