Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Remote Contractor, Mexico

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Continuously enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of the platform, with an emphasis on increasing throughput and minimizing latency.

• Develop and implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for the software, ensuring its accuracy, dependability, and user experience.

• Maintain and enhance web applications by addressing bugs and improving functionality to boost user interaction and overall performance.

• Contribute to infrastructure enhancements and DevOps initiatives to support scaling, security fortification, and system resilience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient command of both written and spoken English.

• Over 8 years of practical experience in full stack software development.

• Self-motivated: Must be proactive and willing to delve into the code for troubleshooting, optimization, and independent solution building.

• Accountability for work: Ability to take full ownership of tasks and projects, ensuring that results align with business goals.

• Results-oriented mindset: Capable of focusing on delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing requirements.

• Flexibility: Comfortable working in an agile setting where priorities and requirements may change quickly.

• Strong expertise in .NET/C# and Microsoft SQL Server.

• Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript (ES5+), React/Vue.

• Experience in building and deploying applications within AWS environments.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools (CI/CD, version control, etc.).

• Knowledge of Python 3+ and NodeJS is advantageous.

• Working knowledge of Elasticsearch.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A Master’s degree in a related domain is a plus but not mandatory.
