Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete technology platform for a lean, profitable performance marketing business with high traffic.

• Oversee the applications, data platform, and infrastructure that generate daily revenue.

• Develop new features while ensuring the platform maintains speed under actual production traffic.

• Manage a high-traffic PostgreSQL database (Supabase, currently around 50GB and expanding).

• Responsibilities encompass schema design, query optimization, index strategies, performance tuning, and ensuring database reliability.

• Control the production environment, including AWS EC2 Linux servers, deployments, monitoring, logging, and observability.

• Enhance and maintain integrations with various systems such as Everflow, TrustedForm, IPQS, Google APIs, and internal AI tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in building and managing production web applications.

• In-depth PostgreSQL knowledge, including indexing, query optimization, schema design, and load troubleshooting (mandatory).

• Proficient in AWS, EC2, Linux, and production operations.

• Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, Python, and contemporary JavaScript front-end frameworks.

• Strong background in API and systems integration.

• Experience in developing observable and reliable production systems.

• Able to independently manage systems within a small remote organization.

• Excellent communication abilities and a high degree of accountability.
