Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Next.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of intricate product domains from start to finish — encompassing architectural choices, implementation, deployment, and post-launch refinement.

• Steer the technical trajectory in your domain proactively, without waiting for tickets or detailed specifications.

• Offer engineering insights directly to Product and leadership — challenge scope, highlight risks, and suggest improved solutions.

• Assume accountability for the reliability, performance, and scalability of your area in a high-traffic setting.

• Engage in (and lead) code reviews while enhancing engineering standards across the team.

• Guide mid-level engineers and assist in raising the technical proficiency of the team.

• Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding processes for new engineers.

• Establish and enhance CI/CD pipelines and development workflows as necessary.

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and enhance the stability of production systems.

• Influence engineering culture and best practices as the team expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of practical, production-level experience in developing and maintaining full-stack web applications.

• Profound, hands-on experience with React and Next.js, including a minimum of 2 years utilizing the Next.js App Router in a production environment.

• Comprehensive understanding of TypeScript and contemporary frontend architectural patterns.

• Demonstrated ability to take features from inception to completion — translating vague requirements into production-ready implementations.

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, encompassing query optimization, schema design, and data modeling.

• Familiarity with caching strategies and performance considerations (such as Redis or similar technologies).

• High standards for code quality, maintainability, and readability.

• Solid expertise with Git, Docker, and modern development methodologies.

• Proficient with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based platforms (preferably AWS or Cloudflare).

• Experience using A/B testing frameworks and analytics to inform product decisions.
