Senior Full Stack Engineer – Java, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and maintain backend services and functionalities through direct coding efforts.

• Execute technical solutions and system improvements in accordance with established designs and technical specifications.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and emerging AI technologies to boost development efficiency and enhance code quality.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate issues in both development and production environments.

• Work collaboratively with product managers and engineering teams to translate business requirements into dependable software solutions.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code while actively engaging in code reviews.

• Adhere to established engineering guidelines and contribute to a dependable and secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Assist with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment procedures.

• Participate in on-call rotations and aid in resolving production issues with minimal impact on customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in developing backend or distributed systems within production settings.

• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring, Spring Boot) for creating production-grade services.

• Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Kiro).

• Understanding of GenAI concepts, LLM-powered applications, or AI-enabled development workflows.

• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Practical experience with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or similar data technologies.

• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, including containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Maven, and NPM.

• Solid understanding of application reliability, observability, and performance monitoring.

• Experience in Agile development environments.

• Knowledge of secure coding practices and modern SDLC methodologies.

• **Nice to Have**

• Familiarity with JavaScript, React, or contemporary frontend frameworks.

• Exposure to agentic AI development, including creating AI agents utilizing GenAI/LLM frameworks and integrating with protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP).
