Senior Full Stack Engineer, Data Mining

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical lead for customer-facing applications.

• Define standards for state management, component modularity, and performance utilizing React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to convert intricate workflows and design systems into responsive web interfaces, interactive data visualizations, and telemetry tools.

• Develop and scale low-latency REST and gRPC microservices using Python and Node.js/TypeScript.

• Handle and retrieve extensive multimodal query payloads.

• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing strategies.

• Create CI/CD pipelines to guarantee dependable releases and avert UI/UX regressions.

• Work alongside ML researchers, data mining engineers, and platform teams to enhance product features.

• Guide engineers on full-stack best practices.

• Convey architectural strategies to technical colleagues and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 6 years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering focused on building and scaling production web applications.

• Expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python, and Node.js.

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining high-performance REST and gRPC services.

• Skilled in developing high-performance APIs.

• Familiarity with managing AWS cloud infrastructure, including EKS and Lambda.

• Experience with AWS CDK (TypeScript) or Terraform.

• Background in establishing automated testing pipelines, such as Cypress or Playwright.

• Knowledge of maturing CI/CD practices.

• Experience working with UX designers, ML engineers, and data teams.

• Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or applications involving real-time spatial/sensor data is a plus.

• Product design sensibilities or direct UI/UX experience is advantageous.

• Familiarity with 3D visualization, Canvas/WebGL, or 3D math/linear algebra is a bonus.

• Experience in internal developer tooling, log ingestion, telemetry viewers, or data annotation systems is preferred.
