Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and upkeep of customer-oriented, SEO-friendly, high-performance web pages, establishing technical direction and standards for the team.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting a culture of learning and technical excellence.

• Enhance desktop and mobile experiences through responsive design.

• Architect, implement, and continuously refine backend services and APIs that support essential product features, proactively tackling scalability and reliability issues.

• Integrate frontend components with backend systems as well as third-party APIs.

• Provide infrastructure and APIs to facilitate AI/ML features, empowering teams to develop artificial intelligence capabilities.

• Write and optimize intricate SQL queries while contributing to data modeling and database performance enhancements.

• Proactively identify and address critical technical challenges, engage in architectural discussions, and mentor team members, elevating the technical standards for the group.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with React and modern JavaScript frontend development; familiarity with Next.js is preferred.

• Strong backend development abilities with a deep understanding of a server-side framework (Ruby on Rails is preferred, or Django, Laravel, Express, etc.).

• Experience working collaboratively with backend/service teams and integrating with existing APIs.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work alongside non-technical stakeholders.

• All communication for this position, both verbal and written, will be conducted in English.
