Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• You will develop internal applications, AI workflows, AI agents, and backend integrations that support Finance and Supply Chain operations for a Tier-1 client.

• Your work will encompass Python services, React front-ends, API and enterprise integrations, as well as Temporal-based durable workflows — in addition to providing production support for your deliverables.

• This is a hands-on individual contributor role intended for engineers who can work swiftly, create dependable software, and navigate ambiguous business workflows to completion with minimal guidance.

• Some engineers in this position will be assessed against the client's own senior engineering criteria, so we seek individuals who can meet that standard.

⛳️ Requirements

• Develop internal applications and tools from start to finish — encompassing Python backends, React front-ends, and the APIs that connect them.

• Design and implement AI workflows and AI agents that automate actual Finance and Supply Chain operations.

• Model long-running, stateful business processes as durable Temporal workflows — including orchestration, retries, human-in-the-loop steps, and exception handling.

• Create backend and enterprise integrations (ERPs, finance/supply chain systems, third-party APIs, and internal services).

• Take ownership of production support for your systems: monitoring, debugging, incident response, and continuous improvement.

• Convert unclear business requirements into reliable, well-defined software with limited supervision.

• Over 5 years of experience in building production software, with a strong recent focus on Python (async, typing, testing discipline).

• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals — data structures, algorithms, complexity — sufficient to succeed in a rigorous coding interview.

• Expertise in backend and API development: designing, building, and integrating services; managing failure, idempotency, and data consistency.

• Proficient in working with React — capable of building and maintaining functional front-ends for internal tools.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous business workflows independently and deliver results reliably and rapidly.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable justifying design choices to client engineers.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
