Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Responsible for making technical design and architectural decisions for both front-end and back-end initiatives, from initial concept to final delivery.

• Guides the product concept, design, wireframing, and prototyping processes for new features and systems.

• Designs, documents, and develops new systems and improvements across the entire stack, including UI/UX, application logic, and data layers.

• Creates and implements data models and schemas for relational databases, such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.

• Writes code for both front-end and back-end using the team's primary programming languages and frameworks (Angular, Java, Node.js, TypeScript).

• Utilizes AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Codex, Claude, Copilot) to enhance coding, debugging, refactoring, and documentation processes.

• Employs prompt engineering techniques to enhance the effectiveness of AI-generated outputs.

• Reviews, validates, and ensures the quality, security, and performance of both human-generated and AI-generated code.

• Identifies opportunities to incorporate AI/LLM-powered capabilities into applications and internal tools.

• Develops and maintains systems in accordance with security best practices (OWASP) and AWS-native security patterns.

• Coaches, mentors, and conducts code reviews for peers and colleagues in both front-end and back-end disciplines.

• Manages the transition of completed work from build to run, ensuring thorough knowledge transfer, documentation, and change management.

• Participates in the continuous improvement of development processes, including AI-assisted workflows and engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A four-year degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is required.

• 8–10+ years of professional software development experience in both front-end and back-end technologies.

• Working knowledge of GitHub or similar mainstream source control products.

• Strong grasp of project lifecycle and delivery methodologies, including waterfall and agile approaches.

• Experience in implementing and supporting operational processes, security, and compliance policies.

• Proficiency in technology: Angular (required), TypeScript, Java, Node.js, AWS-native services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS/Aurora, ECS/EKS, SNS/SQS, CloudFormation/Terraform/CDK), SQL and relational databases (including Oracle and PostgreSQL), RESTful APIs, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, and modern development tools (Visual Studio, VSCode, Cursor, or similar).
