Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create and develop AI-driven internal tools that enhance engineering productivity.

• Develop and sustain REST APIs in Python utilizing the Django REST Framework.

• Construct and uphold frontend applications with Next.js and TypeScript.

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.

• Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to achieve common objectives.

• Contribute innovative technical ideas and enhancements beyond assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• C1 level English or its equivalent.

• Over 3 years of experience in developing production applications using Next.js and TypeScript.

• More than 3 years of backend development experience in Python, particularly with Django REST Framework.

• Proficiency in PostgreSQL within production settings.

• Familiarity with Docker, Docker Compose, and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.

• Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS.

• Knowledge of setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Strong skills in Git and GitHub, with an active public profile being a plus.

• **Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience in high-growth startups, consultancies, or agencies is beneficial, provided there is evidence of product ownership rather than merely delivery-focused work.

• Background in building with LLMs or AI agents, including LangChain, RAG, or agentic systems.

• Experience in training AI models, encompassing dataset curation, training pipelines, and evaluation benchmarks.

• Experience in developing code generation or code editing tools.

• A history of enhancing development processes within a team.

• A notable personal project, contributions to open source, or an active public GitHub profile.
