Senior Full-stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Leverage your extensive programming experience, with at least four years in a professional environment, ideally within a small team.

• Exhibit adaptability by not being confined to a specific programming language, editor, or libraries. Adopt a comprehensive approach to software development, effortlessly switching between frontend, backend, and infrastructure responsibilities.

• Serve as the primary resource for technical advice and architectural decisions within the team. Take on a leadership position when systems encounter challenges and aid in effective problem solving.

• Employ a critical perspective to recognize and mitigate premature over-engineering, ensuring projects advance efficiently. Acknowledge the long-term implications of programming decisions and navigate trade-offs to enhance solutions.

• Appreciate that code is designed to resolve business or customer issues. Excel in making informed trade-offs that effectively tackle these challenges.

• Acknowledged for "technical expertise" OR "system design" OR "architectural decisions" OR "scalable architecture" OR "complex problem solving" OR "subject matter expert" OR "SME."

• Background in "technical debt management" OR "avoiding over-engineering" OR "performance optimization" OR "scalable solutions" OR "cost-effective engineering" and making "trade-offs" OR "pragmatic decisions" for "timeline optimization" OR "long-term outcomes."

• Experience in aligning "code" OR "architecture" with "business needs" OR "customer problems" OR "product-driven engineering" OR "business outcomes."

• Practical familiarity with "Node.js" OR "Next.js" OR "React" OR "Relay" OR "GraphQL" OR "Apollo-GraphQL" OR "Postgres" OR "Heroku" *(nice to have)*.
