Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Oversee both frontend and backend engineering, guide technical decisions, assist the team in their delivery, and ensure that products are developed effectively from concept to launch.

• Mentor engineers and foster a strong culture of ownership, speed, innovation, and quality.

• Deliver innovation projects at a faster pace with improved engineering structure.

• Ensure effective coordination between frontend and backend teams.

• Develop products with clear architecture, comprehensive documentation, and high-quality standards.

• Quickly unblock engineers and provide adequate support.

• Ensure smooth transitions for MVPs and pilots from concept to launch.

• Encourage the adoption of practical new technologies that generate real business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Lead the engineering direction for innovation projects across frontend and backend.

• Build, review, and enhance full-stack applications, including web, APIs, databases, and integrations.

• Convert product ideas and business requirements into clear technical plans.

• Coordinate frontend and backend engineers to ensure seamless delivery.

• Define technical architecture, API structures, database design, and development standards.

• Support rapid prototyping, MVP development, pilot launches, and product enhancements.

• Review code, assist engineers in overcoming obstacles, and enhance engineering quality.

• Ensure that products are scalable, secure, reliable, and easy to maintain.

• Investigate and utilize emerging technologies, including AI, blockchain, automation, and payment systems.

• Assist with sprint planning, task breakdown, documentation, testing, and release readiness.

• Mentor engineers and promote a strong culture of ownership, speed, innovation, and quality.

• Extensive experience as a Full-Stack Engineer.

• Proficient frontend experience with tools such as React, Next.js, Vue, or similar frameworks.

• Solid backend experience with Node.js.

• Experience in building APIs, integrations, dashboards, internal tools, or customer-facing platforms.

• Good understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, deployment, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.

• Strong grasp of software architecture, security, performance, and scalability.

• Ability to coordinate engineers and manage frontend/backend dependencies.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced innovation environment.

• Experience in AI, automation, blockchain, fintech, payments, or SaaS products.

• Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, RAG systems, workflow automation, or API orchestration.

• Experience with wallets, stablecoins, smart contracts, digital assets, or Web3 infrastructure.

• Proven experience in leading MVPs, pilots, prototypes, or early-stage product development.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, design, data, AI, and business units.
