Senior Full Stack Engineer

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define, develop, and enhance user experiences throughout the entire stack utilizing modern frontend and backend technologies.

• Take ownership of and advance both frontend and backend architectures to ensure scalability, performance, accessibility, and long-term maintainability.

• Lead the design and implementation of intricate frontend systems using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, which includes server-side rendering (SSR), routing, data fetching, and performance enhancements.

• Create and develop reliable backend services and APIs in Python with Django, emphasizing reliability, security, and scalability.

• Establish and maintain full-stack engineering standards, including design patterns, tools, testing strategies, and best practices for CI/CD.

• Propel cross-team technical initiatives, ensuring alignment between frontend and backend architecture with platform capabilities and product strategy.

• Proactively identify technical risks and opportunities across the stack, offering clear technical guidance and trade-off analysis.

• Mentor and support engineers in both frontend and backend domains, elevating the standards of code quality, architectural thought, and delivery practices.

• Design and implement comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end automation tests across the entire stack.

• Define and track full-stack metrics (performance, reliability, user behavior) to guide product and technical decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher, such as an MS or PhD) in Computer Science or a relevant technical field involving coding, or equivalent technical experience.

• Strong expertise in modern frontend development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

• Proficient in backend development using Python and Django, covering RESTful API design, data modeling, and service architecture.

• Significant experience with frontend architecture, including state management, component design, design systems, and performance optimization.

• Experience in designing and managing backend systems at scale, including databases, caching, queuing, and API integrations.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining production applications utilizing both server-side and client-side rendering.

• In-depth understanding of software engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including testing, code reviews, observability, and operational excellence.

• Over 4 years of industry experience, demonstrating substantial depth in both frontend and backend development.

• Familiarity with cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure), particularly in relation to full-stack delivery and integration.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, LLMs) is a plus.
