Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be tasked with the design, development, and maintenance of both the front-end and back-end components of Deel’s platform.

• Your work will encompass a variety of technologies and systems, ranging from the user-facing interface to the server-side infrastructure, ensuring a seamless integration across Deel’s global platform.

• You will collaborate within a cross-functional team alongside Product, Design, and DevOps professionals to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions that support Deel’s global workforce and payroll services.

• Your responsibilities will include developing responsive web applications with TypeScript, Javascript, React, and Express. Familiarity with NestJS, Vite, and Next.js will be advantageous.

• You will design and implement server-side APIs, data models, and business logic primarily utilizing the Express framework.

• Your role will involve creating function-based React components, hooks, stories, and tests on the client-side to interact with your server-side implementations.

• You will be responsible for creating and optimizing database schemas, queries, and interactions with Postgres.

• Building reusable and modular components for both the front and back end to enhance code reusability, maintainability, and scalability will be part of your duties.

• You will conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

• Staying informed on emerging web development trends, frameworks, and best practices, you will recommend enhancements to improve development processes.

• Participation in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members will be essential for maintaining code quality standards.

• You will effectively communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to both team members and stakeholders.

• Contributing to the ongoing improvement of development processes, methodologies, and tools will be part of your mission.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Full-Stack development, particularly with a focus on TypeScript.

• Proficient in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications using the aforementioned technologies.
