Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a strong sense of ownership to assist in scaling a product that significantly impacts millions of users.

• This hands-on role involves contributing across the entire stack, influencing architectural choices, and delivering features.

• Engage in end-to-end feature development spanning frontend, backend, and database layers.

• Develop scalable systems that can support high-traffic fundraising campaigns.

• Focus on enhancing performance, reliability, and developer efficiency.

• Address real-world challenges in payments, donor experiences, and campaign scalability.

• Create and deliver full-stack features from initial concept to final production.

• Collaborate across UI, backend services, and optimize database performance.

• Design scalable architectures while making thoughtful technical trade-offs.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the entire stack.

• Work in partnership with product and design teams to provide intuitive user experiences.

• Support production systems and enhance reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong practical programming experience rather than solely academic.

• Proven capability to work confidently across both frontend and backend technologies.

• Familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Rails, Django, Pyramid, or similar.

• Solid knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQLite.

• Experience with deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Heroku, or similar.

• Ability to balance rapid development with clean, maintainable code.

• Extensive experience with Ruby / Ruby on Rails is a plus.

• Experience in PostgreSQL performance tuning or database administration is advantageous.

• Background in building systems utilized by large user bases is a plus.

• Understanding of caching, networking, and system performance is beneficial.

• Familiarity with fintech, payments, or crowdfunding platforms is a plus.

• A strong product sense and an eye for user-friendly UI is desirable.
