Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product managers and development teams to create software solutions that are mission-driven and fulfill business requirements.

• Design robust systems for both client-side and server-side while remaining open to the assessment of new technologies and methodologies.

• Produce clean, scalable, and maintainable code across both front-end and back-end, taking ownership of code quality and performance.

• Develop, deploy, and sustain well-functioning databases and applications, ensuring operations remain consistent and efficient.

• Update and enhance software post-deployment to support business growth and technological advancements, adhering to a culture of accountability and excellence.

• Create visually appealing application front-ends that prioritize usability and user experience, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders for alignment.

• Design and implement effective APIs to enhance system interoperability and facilitate data exchange, taking ownership of this vital infrastructure component.

• Innovate features and applications with a mobile-first mindset, optimizing for responsiveness and efficiency.

• Execute thorough testing strategies to troubleshoot, debug, and enhance software, ensuring high performance and stability.

• Design and uphold security and data protection protocols in accordance with best practices and compliance standards.

• Generate clear and concise technical documentation to aid in the understanding and utilization of systems and applications.

• Adhere to C-MORE’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and guidelines, maintaining secure practices and understanding organizational procedures and internal standards.

• Actively assist in resolving internal or external challenges within your area of expertise, fostering collaboration and transparency.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer or in a comparable software development position.

• Over 5 years of experience with PHP as a back-end language, along with strong proficiency in CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

• Extensive experience utilizing the Laravel framework.

• Familiarity with Livewire, AlpineJS, and CI/CD is a plus.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies and their implementation in development environments.

• Proficiency in English.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, embodying our values of collaboration and transparency.

• Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently, showcasing accountability.

• Experience collaborating with international and/or remote teams is a plus.
