Senior Full Stack Developer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• You will become part of a small, tightly-knit team dedicated to developing a contemporary maritime operations platform for a well-established European client.

• The platform comprises three interconnected applications that manage everything from invoice processing and fleet documentation to AI-enhanced data extraction from shipping documents.

• The project is currently in the mid-migration phase - you will assist in transitioning a large legacy system into a new, well-organized architecture while also implementing significant Quality of Life improvements that users will notice immediately.

• The technology stack is both practical and modern: utilizing React + TypeScript + Next.js on the frontend, and Python/Django/DRF on the backend, deployed on Azure with on-premises components.

• The team operates under a Kanban/Agile methodology with bi-weekly syncs - prioritizing focused delivery without unnecessary formalities.

• AI is integral to both the product and the team's workflow, rather than just a trendy term.

• You will be expected to utilize AI tools on a daily basis, both in your role as a developer and while creating AI-driven features for end users.

⛳️ Requirements

• React + TypeScript: A minimum of 7 years of commercial experience.

• Python + Django/DRF: A minimum of 7 years of commercial experience.

• Strong understanding of REST API design and integration patterns.

• Experience with PostgreSQL and asynchronous task processing tools (e.g., Celery or similar).

• Daily utilization of AI tools (such as Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) - this is a critical requirement, not a mere preference.

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage and drive complex technical decisions from start to finish.

• Experience in leading or mentoring fellow developers.

• Proficient in English communication skills (C1) - required for direct collaboration with the client.

• Familiarity with Next.js (SSR/SSG patterns) is a nice-to-have.

• Experience with Azure or similar cloud infrastructures is a nice-to-have.

• Knowledge of email processing workflows or document parsing is a nice-to-have.
