Senior Full-Stack Cloud Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and test full-stack components, which include enterprise web service APIs, backend services, and user interfaces that utilize REST APIs.

• Collaborate with product management to convert requirements into technical designs and deliver precise estimates.

• Create both internal and external interfaces utilizing microservices and automation patterns to modernize systems.

• Define, implement, and uphold automated unit and integration testing.

• Produce production-ready code through short, iterative cycles.

• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and Systems teams to enhance and oversee the development pipeline.

• Contribute to full-stack design, development, and testing by leveraging cloud technology platforms and industry-standard tools.

• Lead modernization projects that span multiple teams.

• Provide technical guidance across feature teams and influence architectural decisions.

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.

• Engage in solution architecture discussions and technology selection processes.

• Serve as a senior technical contact for cross-functional stakeholders.

• Identify system bottlenecks, architectural deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across distributed systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship with the capacity to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor's Degree or four additional years of experience in place of a degree.

• A minimum of 6 years in software engineering.

• Expertise in the design, implementation, and deployment of enterprise software.

• Proficient in JavaScript and contemporary frontend frameworks like Angular or React.

• Strong programming skills in Java, including knowledge of Spring Boot or similar frameworks.

• Experience in a Scrum-based development setting.

• Practical experience with JIRA, Bamboo or Jenkins, Bitbucket (Git), and Confluence.

• Proficiency in JSON, YAML, and XML.

• Experience in developing distributed modular system architectures, including Microservices and SOA.

• Understanding of modern cloud networking principles and enterprise security best practices, including GCP-native security controls and SAST/DAST methods or similar cloud environments.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

• Experience in cloud development.

• Knowledge of web accessibility standards.

• Experience using Postman or similar tools to test web services.

• Familiarity with application servers or containers like JBoss or Tomcat.

• Significant experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.

• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust, with approved adjudication prior to onboarding.

• Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, or VS Code.

• GCP certification or familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience with cloud-based AI/ML services and MLOps practices.

• Proficient in Python for the development, training, and deployment of machine learning models.
