Senior Frontend Engineer, Retail Media / AdTech Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop contemporary frontend experiences for the Retail Media platform, focusing on campaign management, advertiser self-service, and various AdTech products.

• Take ownership of the complete frontend delivery process.

• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate scalable APIs.

• Provide high-quality user experiences.

• Build intricate web applications for reporting, asset management, permissions, audience segments, wallet integrations, and CRM metadata integrations.

• Participate in the greenfield engineering transition from outsourced development to an internal engineering team.

• Assist in defining the future architecture for frontend development.

• Engage across multiple AdTech domains prior to specializing in specific product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience with React and TypeScript.

• Proven experience in developing complex production web applications.

• Strong background in integrating frontend applications with backend APIs.

• Capability to operate across the frontend/backend divide.

• Experience in dynamic product environments that are rapidly growing.

• Willingness to take ownership beyond traditional frontend responsibilities.

• Collaborative experience with Product, UX, and Backend Engineering teams.

• Familiarity with Retail Media, AdTech, e-commerce, or retail platforms is a plus.

• Exposure to CMS, CRM integrations, self-service platforms, or Node.js/NestJS is beneficial.

• Proficiency with the specified technology stack, including React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Koa.js, NestJS, MongoDB, Redis, BullMQ, RabbitMQ, Algolia, Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Google Cloud Platform, CircleCI, ArgoCD, and modern ad-serving platform integrations.
