Senior Frontend Engineer, React, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain intricate enterprise web applications utilizing React and TypeScript.

• Create interactive dashboards, data visualizations, workflow builders, and node-based interfaces.

• Architect and implement scalable frontend structures for large and sophisticated applications.

• Oversee application state management using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or comparable state management solutions.

• Construct and uphold reusable component libraries and shared UI patterns.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement design systems.

• Design efficient data-intensive interfaces for extensive datasets and intricate screens.

• Enhance frontend performance for large lists, complex visualizations, and data-heavy workflows.

• Utilize D3 or similar visualization libraries to craft interactive data experiences.

• Develop reusable frontend patterns to boost application consistency and development efficiency.

• Create responsive and accessible user interfaces adhering to established accessibility standards.

• Produce and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Employ testing tools such as Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.

• Partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs and manage asynchronous data flows.

• Identify and address frontend performance, usability, and reliability challenges.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to frontend engineering standards and best practices.

• Assist in evolving frontend architecture as the product scales in complexity and size.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer or in a similar position developing production web applications.

• Extensive hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in live environments.

• Deep understanding of React fundamentals, rendering dynamics, component lifecycle, and performance factors.

• Significant experience with state management through Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar technologies.

• Experience in constructing complex enterprise applications with data-heavy interfaces.

• Hands-on experience in developing visual editors, workflow builders, node-based interfaces, or other similarly complex interactive UIs.

• Strong experience in creating reusable component libraries and shared UI components.

• Experience in implementing and maintaining design systems in collaboration with designers.

• Profound understanding of frontend architecture, component composition, and reusable design patterns.

• Experience in optimizing applications that manage large lists, extensive datasets, and intricate screens.

• Hands-on experience with D3 or similar data visualization libraries.

• Strong comprehension of interactive data visualization and effectively presenting complex data.

• Experience in writing unit and end-to-end tests using Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.

• Solid understanding of frontend testing strategies and designing testable components.

• Experience in integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services.

• Robust understanding of asynchronous operations, data fetching, caching, and client-side state management.

• Good grasp of accessibility standards and implementing accessible frontend solutions.

• Strong attention to UI consistency, usability, and implementation details.

• Ability to collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs and design systems into production-ready interfaces.

• Capable of working effectively with backend engineers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capability to make pragmatic trade-offs between performance, maintainability, and user experience.
