Senior Frontend Engineer – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold responsive, high-performance web applications utilizing React.

• Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to convert ideas into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and scalable code while following best practices in frontend development.

• Enhance applications for optimal speed and performance across diverse devices and platforms.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend issues to guarantee a seamless user experience.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend components within our microservices architecture.

• Actively engage in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback to elevate code quality.

• Keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in frontend technologies while contributing to ongoing improvements.

• Foster the development of junior engineers by providing focused mentorship and guiding their technical growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a frontend engineer with a strong command of React.

• Strong grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Thorough understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.

• Experience in working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).

• Knowledge of modern frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel) and version control (Git).

• Awareness of accessibility standards and best practices (WCAG).

• Experience in frontend performance optimization techniques.

• Experience in Agile environments, preferably within a Scrum team.
