Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop high-performance, production-ready user interfaces utilizing React, Redux or similar state management frameworks, along with TypeScript.

• Implement AI throughout the delivery lifecycle while establishing guidelines for code review, provenance, licensing, and customer data prompts.

• Create and construct front-end interfaces that incorporate AI-driven functionalities such as chat, content generation, and intelligent recommendations.

• Take ownership of the performance, scalability, and reliability of high-traffic applications aimed at customers.

• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineering teams to transition features from concept to production.

• Establish and uphold frontend engineering standards concerning component reuse, design-system consistency, testing coverage, and code review practices.

• Provide mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers on architecture, debugging, and contemporary React patterns.

• Propel continuous delivery and iterative releases informed by genuine user feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building and deploying modern, production-quality web applications at scale.

• In-depth knowledge of React, Redux/modern state management, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

• Proficient in utilizing AI throughout the delivery lifecycle, selecting suitable models for various challenges, reviewing AI-generated code, and setting AI guidelines.

• Familiarity with generated-code review standards, provenance and licensing evaluations, customer-data prompt boundaries, and security or compliance review necessities.

• Experience in integrating REST APIs and functioning within microservices-based architectures.

• Skilled in Jest/Cypress testing frameworks.

• Proven experience in building or maintaining component libraries and design systems.

• A history of owning technical outcomes from start to finish in dynamic and ambiguous settings.

• Background in a high-scale SaaS or consumer platform environment.

• Experience with Next.js is an advantage.

• Previous work involving LLM-powered or AI-driven product features is a plus.
