Senior Frontend Developer – Vue, SSR, SEO focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Development and maintenance of functionality in a product with a mirror network (5+ domains), where each mirror serves its own geo.

• Creation of a new microservice for SSR/SSG, choosing rendering strategies and server caching.

• Execution of SEO tasks: technical indexing, canonical, hreflang, sitemap, robots.txt.

• Support and optimization of the existing product with a focus on Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS): systematic regression analysis, implementation of fixes, tracking dynamics in CrUX.

• Setting up monitoring and alerting in the areas of performance and SEO: Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, Lighthouse, building dashboards and responding to degradations.

• Designing and supporting interaction processes with the core frontend team.

• Participation in defining technical standards and conventions for the team.

• Code reviews with an emphasis on SEO implications of decisions, performance, and architecture.

• Involvement in planning, decomposition, and task assessment.

• Communication with the product and core teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• JavaScript: 5+ years of experience.

• TypeScript: 2+ years of experience.

• Vue/Nuxt/Pinia: 3+ years of experience.

• SSR/SSG: strong understanding of rendering strategies, hydration mismatch, streaming SSR, experience in building or significantly supporting an SSR service.

• Node.js: Express middleware, error handling, understanding of the event loop.

• Web Vitals: LCP, INP, CLS, ability to independently diagnose regressions, find and fix root causes.

• Understanding of technical SEO: indexing, crawling, microdata (schema.org), server responses (status codes, headers), the impact of rendering on indexing.

• Monitoring: Sentry, Lighthouse, CrUX, Prometheus/Grafana.

• Vitest/Jest unit tests.

• Experience with Vite, Git, CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI).
