Senior Front End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• In the role of Senior Front-End Engineer, you will be a key member of the team tasked with transitioning our digital ecosystem from a traditional monolithic Drupal framework to a contemporary Headless CMS setup.

• You will be instrumental in developing a scalable Next.js frontend, designing a unified Design System, and facilitating integration with a Headless CMS.

• Your primary objective will be to construct a high-performance, type-safe, and themeable architecture that can be utilized across various client brands, ensuring a smooth migration while upholding the highest standards of code quality and user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• **React**: Demonstrated professional experience with React, showcasing deep expertise and a solid understanding of hooks, context, and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).

• **TypeScript Proficiency**: Advanced skills in TypeScript to maintain codebase integrity and reduce regressions in a multi-site context.

• **Modern CSS**: Expertise in CSS-in-JS or utility-first frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, Bulma, etc.) with an emphasis on Design Tokens and Theming.

• **Design Implementation**: Capacity to convert Figma designs into reusable, accessible, and themeable UI components.

• **API Integration**: Experience with integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

• **Testing & Quality**: Proficiency in implementing Unit tests (Jest/Vitest/React Testing Library).

• **Performance Optimization**: Proven experience in enhancing React applications for performance, including code-splitting, lazy loading, and effective state management, along with familiarity with Web Vitals.

• **CI/CD & DevOps Awareness**: Knowledge of Azure or other cloud environments and automated deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
