Senior FP&A Revenue Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop the revenue strategy and forecasts: Collaborate with key stakeholders to create the annual plan and monthly forecasts in accordance with corporate planning and forecasting standards.

• Improve forecasting processes and models: Enhance existing forecasting procedures/models and assess current tools and deliverables for their effectiveness and user-friendliness.

• Provide actionable insights: Generate analytics and ad hoc reports that deliver critical insights into the business, including scenario and variance analyses across different periods, accounts, and properties.

• Own the narrative: Create reporting and analysis that conveys clear variance storytelling with well-defined explanations of differences against forecasts, budgets, and prior periods.

• Assist with quarter-end and earnings preparation: Support the quarter-end close process and the preparation for quarterly earnings calls, including executive-ready analysis and materials.

• Drive process enhancements (automation-focused): Identify opportunities for process improvements—such as optimizing tool usage, automating processes, consolidating/enhancing reports, and improving communication/data transitions—and assist in implementing them.

• Become a reliable resource across systems: Acquire expertise in multiple financial systems and processes to provide necessary support and training.

• Build trust and credibility: Establish credibility through respectful and thoughtful engagement, meticulous attention to detail, professional integrity, and financial acumen.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

• 3–5+ years of proven experience in Finance and/or Accounting.

• Familiarity with corporate budgeting or financial planning and analysis.
