Senior FP&A Analyst – Global Lease

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement leasing strategies that are in line with the infrastructure growth plan.

• Oversee the comprehensive equipment leasing program and strategy, which includes the decision-making framework for choosing between buying or leasing and selecting third-party capital partners.

• Serve as the primary contact for financing partners, monitor financing terms across lenders (including rates, fees, and covenants), assist in negotiations for new leases and refinancing, evaluate financing options, and recommend the most cost-effective structure.

• Manage all aspects of the lease portfolio, which involves maintaining a centralized register, tracking key financial terms (such as principal, interest, payment schedules, and maturity), and monitoring for variances and refinancing requirements.

• Facilitate and coordinate equipment needs and orders among the Infrastructure, Engineering, and Procurement teams, as well as the relevant capital partner throughout the procurement process.

• Oversee the operational execution of new leases, which includes necessary documentation, timing, validating lease contracts against vendor invoices, and coordinating funding with financing partners and internal teams.

• Deliver financial forecasting assistance by producing monthly and quarterly lease schedules, projecting future cash flows, providing structured inputs for budgeting and long-term planning, and conducting ad-hoc analysis.

• Develop and uphold processes, including standard templates for tracking and establishing clear workflows for new lease intake, contract approvals, payment tracking, and the transition to accounting teams.

• Act as the main liaison and escalation point for all internal and external program stakeholders, including financing partners, Infrastructure, Legal, and Accounting teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a business, technical, or analytical discipline (e.g., Business Administration or Economics).

• Experience in financial modeling and forecasting, along with a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles, such as cash flow management.

• Demonstrated experience in managing and leasing data center equipment, showcasing a deep understanding of the associated financial and operational processes.

• Excellent organizational, negotiation, and analytical skills to effectively manage a large portfolio of leases, meticulously track financial terms, and support lender negotiations.

• Strong communication abilities with the capacity to effectively engage with capital partners, senior leadership, and other program stakeholders.
