This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly re-forecast, which includes managing calendars, templates, working sessions, and consolidation tasks.
• Maintain and enhance the three-statement financial model.
• Support long-term planning and scenario modeling related to growth, hiring, and capital decisions.
• Take ownership of departmental financial alignment across Growth, Product, Engineering, People, and Customer Success.
• Conduct recurring reviews with department leaders concerning budget, expenditures, and headcount in relation to the plan.
• Act as the finance approver in Zip for vendor and purchase requests.
• Oversee spending in Ramp in alignment with the plan and keep the renewal calendar updated.
• Provide departmental leaders with insights into committed and remaining budgets.
• Proactively identify and flag in-period variances and emerging risks.
• Assist non-financial leaders in comprehending their financial data and linking expenditures to outcomes.
• Collaborate with Accounting during the month-end close process, including accruals, plan-to-actual reconciliation, and monthly reporting.
• Generate variance analysis accompanied by written commentary.
• Prepare metrics, schedules, and narrative inputs for investor updates and board reports.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and create decision-support presentations for leadership.
• Enhance and automate recurring reporting processes in Aleph and Omni.
• Minimum of 4 years in FP&A or corporate finance, with hands-on experience in a complete planning cycle.
• Proficient in advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling.
• Experience in developing processes and tools that can be utilized by others.
• Capability to collaborate with non-financial leaders to navigate spending discrepancies.
• Skill in communicating complex financial concepts to audiences without a finance background.
• Ability to detect and report surprises and risks at an early stage.
• Comfort in creating processes where they currently do not exist.
• Experience in a subscription, SaaS, or fintech environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with BI tools such as Omni or Looker (preferred).
• Familiarity with modern ERP systems like Rillet or NetSuite, or planning tools such as Aleph, Pigment, Anaplan, or Adaptive (preferred).
• Experience with procurement or spend management tools like Zip, Coupa, Airbase, or Navan (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
