This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take charge of the consolidated P&L forecast, delivering a reliable and reconciled view of the company's performance.
• Combine contributions from Strategic Finance, Accounting, Business Operations, Investor Relations, and other departments.
• Direct monthly and quarterly closing cycles, variance analysis, and high-quality management reporting for executives.
• Maintain a five-year GAAP and non-GAAP long-range financial model with scenario analyses.
• Manage the annual budgeting process and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
• Create Board presentations, investor communications, and quarterly business review documents.
• Generate the weekly consolidated P&L outlook and distill business insights into actionable narratives.
• Develop scalable, repeatable, and auditable forecasting processes that align with Accounting's close activities.
• Design and implement P&Ls for Business Units.
• Facilitate timely and effective internal capital allocation decisions.
• Lead and nurture a high-achieving Finance team.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO, Strategic Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations, Legal, and other business partners.
• Report directly to the Vice President of Investor Relations and Strategic Finance.
• Over 12 years of experience in a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance within a high-growth or public tech company.
• Direct responsibility for consolidated financial reporting and forecasting processes.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP financial statements.
• Comfort in navigating both GAAP and non-GAAP financial frameworks.
• High proficiency in advanced Excel/Sheets.
• Capability to build and sustain complex, enterprise-level financial models.
• Experience in influencing cross-functional stakeholders, including those in Accounting, Investor Relations, and Business Operations.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong people management experience with a proven track record of developing high-performing Finance teams.
• Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
• MBA is preferred.
• Familiarity with Adaptive, Oracle, Workiva, Pigment, Anaplan, or similar enterprise FP&A tools is preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL is preferred.
• Experience with consumer marketplace businesses or on-demand commerce is preferred.
• Ability to occasionally work from the San Francisco or New York City office is preferred.
