Senior Forward Deployed Engineer – Partner Success

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Co-lead deployment engineering initiatives: Collaborate in the technical execution and design of Parloa's deployments within large, intricate enterprise settings alongside our partners.

• Partner Empowerment: Train and enable partners on the capabilities, limitations, trade-offs, and optimal AI Agent architectures possible with Parloa's platform.

• Design for scalability and durability: Create deployment solutions that fulfill enterprise-grade standards for performance, reliability, and security.

• Innovate where needed: Develop custom extensions, integrations, and configurations to address product gaps and meet the requirements of enterprise partners.

• Navigate across systems and stacks: Function at the intersection of backend engineering, DevOps, and data engineering to guarantee seamless delivery.

• Collaborate with enterprise teams: Work closely with customer and partner engineering teams to navigate constraints and achieve measurable results.

• Influence at high levels: Interact with enterprise architects, partner architects, and senior technical stakeholders, discussing solutions and architectures in detail to ensure alignment and credibility.

• Troubleshoot under pressure: Swiftly resolve issues in mission-critical settings and ensure the success of customers and partners.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, systems integration, DevOps, or data engineering roles with a direct impact on customers.

• Demonstrated success in leading extensive technical deployments and integrations within large-scale enterprise environments.

• Strong technical expertise across backend engineering, infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes/cloud platforms, APIs, and databases, with proven experience in systems design and the capability to engage hands-on in production systems.

• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, high-stakes situations, particularly when deploying live systems to enterprises.

• A builder's mindset characterized by a proactive approach, creativity under pressure, and a passion for ensuring real-world functionality.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Strong plus: Experience in building or integrating AI/LLM-powered systems (e.g., embedding agent workflows, vector databases, prompt orchestration).
