Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and development of products and solutions tailored for state governments and enterprise clients.

• Collaborate closely with customer delivery leads, engineers, and UX designers to ensure the successful execution and deployment of projects.

• Convert customer requirements into technical architectures and functional implementations.

• Serve as a reliable technical advisor to public sector partners, assisting them in adopting standards and best practices.

• Develop backend software and full-stack web and mobile applications that comply with public sector security, privacy, and accessibility requirements.

• Contribute to both new and existing Rust codebases that operate on backend services, mobile devices, and in web browsers.

• Oversee customer deployments and support operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience delivering backend software using statically typed programming languages, such as C#, Rust, Go, or Java.

• Experience in developing modern web frontends that adhere to accessibility and security standards.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering initiatives and deliver production-level systems.

• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps methodologies.

• Strong communication skills and a track record of working directly with customers, preferably in a consulting or delivery capacity.

• Residing in the US and eager to engage directly with state government partners.
