This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +12 more states.
• Take full ownership of technical delivery from discovery through architecture, build, production, and post-launch support.
• Collaborate closely with client engineering and business teams.
• Convert business challenges into architectural solutions and effectively communicate these architectures to executives.
• Develop production applications and agentic systems within client environments.
• Create LLM-powered workflows, manage agent orchestration, establish evaluation frameworks, and integrate with financial systems.
• Design APIs and facilitate system integrations.
• Strengthen prototypes for regulated production settings by conducting security reviews, audit trails, PII management, and performance testing.
• Assess client requests and propose suitable solutions.
• Mentor client engineers to enable them to sustain and enhance delivered systems.
• Manage complex production issues within client infrastructure.
• Formulate implementation plans, organize work sequences, and delegate tasks to both internal and client-side engineers.
• Provide technical leadership without engaging in people management.
• Foster account growth through successful solution delivery without a revenue target or involvement in commercial discussions.
• Proactively identify potential risks.
• Ensure the provision of documented, runnable, and maintainable software after transitioning off an engagement.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience delivering production software across the full stack.
• Proficiency in Python; .NET or Node.js may be considered as alternatives.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React or Next.js.
• Proven ability to lead the technical aspects of project delivery.
• Capability to manage implementation plans, sequence work, and direct engineers without formal management duties.
• Experience in API design and system integration.
• Familiarity with integrating legacy, poorly documented, load-bearing systems.
• Background in client-facing delivery, including conducting discovery sessions and navigating challenging stakeholder relationships.
• Experience with production LLMs and agents, involving prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and large-scale deployment.
• Focus on application engineering rather than ML research.
• Comfort in delivering value in ambiguous situations.
• Strong communication skills with both engineers and executives.
• Experience in effectively scoping client requests.
• Willingness to travel to client locations 20–30% of the time.
• Must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship.
• International relocation or remote work outside the United States will not be considered.
