Senior Forensic Engineer – Civil, Structural

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +14 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee projects and act as the main point of contact.

• Organize site visits, allocate resources, and establish timelines to ensure project progression.

• Conduct site assessments and testing to collect data across various property types.

• Generate reports that merge inspection, testing, and analytical data to determine root causes and provide recommendations for repairs or replacements.

• Facilitate regional expansion through recruitment and business development initiatives.

• Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships while generating new business opportunities.

• Collaborate with the business development team on conferences and client outreach efforts.

• Analyze and interpret pertinent building codes as required for matters related to the project scope.

• Supervise the formulation of repair or replacement design scopes, as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license.

• More than 10 years of experience in forensic engineering.

• Demonstrated ability to compose detailed technical reports based on inspection findings.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Openness to travel up to 50% of the time.
