This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Closely monitor expenditures, promptly identify anomalies, and investigate root causes using a hands-on, problem-solving methodology.
• Establish and enforce fundamental FinOps practices (such as tagging, cost allocation, budgeting, and forecasting) to enhance accountability among teams.
• Develop and maintain transparent visibility over cloud expenditures (AWS/GCP), converting usage data into straightforward, actionable reports for Finance and leadership.
• Discover opportunities for cost reduction (e.g., idle resources, overprovisioning, pricing models) and ensure implementation in collaboration with Engineering.
• Collaborate with technical teams to challenge decisions and instill cost-awareness in daily infrastructure choices.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or related fields with a strong analytical emphasis), Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Advanced or fluent proficiency in the English language.
• Significant experience in Cloud Financial Management (FinOps), financial modeling for infrastructure, and variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual). Familiarity with IPaaS or SaaS business models is a considerable advantage.
• Proficient in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker), advanced Excel/Google Sheets, and cloud-native billing tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, or GCP Billing). Knowledge of SQL for data extraction is highly preferred.
