Senior Financial Systems Analyst – Aderant Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• This role serves as the primary owner for the design, development, and execution of Aderant Expert customizations for Classic and Framework forms, inquiries, rules, and workflows.

• Leverage the DocuDraft toolkit to create and modify DocuDraft documents.

• Design and implement scalable data warehouse solutions tailored for finance applications, which include optimized data models and ETL pipelines to ensure effective data processing, storage, and reporting.

• Develop and refine SQL queries, stored procedures, and data endpoints to improve financial data processing, business intelligence, and integration with web and financial applications.

• Engage in the selection, planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of financial systems, including the integration of third-party applications and interfaces.

• Provide second-tier analysis and support for financial applications, addressing issues through ticket resolution and ensuring user satisfaction.

• Work with business partners to translate business needs into functional and system requirements that support business processes, origination, system, and technology changes.

• Collaborate with business partners and technology teams to define, coordinate, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Execute and maintain tasks related to the implementation and support of financial systems, including business requirements, effort estimates, system specifications, data mapping documents, support, and troubleshooting documentation.

• Mentor junior developers and analysts on the firm’s financial systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Finance & Accounting, or an equivalent qualification is required.

• Prior experience in a law firm is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Aderant Expert.

• At least 5 years of experience with development tools.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Aderant Expert Classic and Framework platform, including customization, database structure, and design studio.

• Proficient with development tools such as Visual Studio, SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SharePoint, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and PowerShell.

• Additionally, experienced with Office 365 products including MS Access, Power Apps, and BI tools.

• Familiarity with Iron Python and the API-Rest Framework.

• Experience with other financial systems such as Expert Image, EIS, Intapp Time, Chrome River, and financial systems warehouse.

• Understanding of financial database structures in law firms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with personnel at all levels within the firm.

• Capable of clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
