Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the yearly budgeting process and regular forecasting activities.

• Create and sustain financial models to aid planning and business initiatives.

• Track actual performance against established budgets and forecasts, identifying discrepancies and their root causes.

• Offer recommendations for enhancing financial performance and optimizing resource distribution.

• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports along with performance dashboards.

• Provide prompt and precise analysis of essential financial and operational metrics.

• Perform variance analysis and deliver commentary on business performance.

• Collaborate with functional leaders to grasp business drivers and offer financial insights.

• Assist in strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business cases through financial modeling and scenario analysis.

• Monitor KPIs and furnish regular performance analyses for stakeholders.

• Improve financial planning and reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, or Management Reporting.

• Proficient financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical abilities.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial reporting tools.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Capability to interpret complex data and provide commercial insights.

• Keen attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Preferred CPA, CA, CFA, or equivalent professional designation.

• Experience in a multi-entity or rapidly growing environment.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

• Exposure to strategic planning, business case formulation, and scenario modeling.
