Senior Financial Analyst, Digital

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Conducts project-based analysis for R&D, encompassing budgeting and forecasting.

• Accountable for monitoring time and costs associated with R&D in support of various Business Units, corporate initiatives, and alignment with strategic goals.

• Observes and evaluates R&D resource deployment activities and trends over time, presenting findings to Executives and Senior Leaders through presentations, dashboards, and various communications.

• Develops and sustains labor and financial models that effectively translate individual time inputs into comprehensive financial summaries.

• Creates essential business case inputs for planning and investment decisions.

• Collaborates with Technical Accounting and Fixed Assets to ensure accurate treatment and documentation of capital projects.

• Aids in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting presentations for executive discussions.

• Generates and disseminates monthly financial reports that detail performance metrics.

• Proactively discovers key insights regarding performance trends and conducts analyses.

• Enhances project tracking and promotes transparency for stakeholders.

• Assists with investor presentations and data requirements for reporting purposes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, private equity, or a comparable role.

• Previous experience in a Finance role supporting the R&D function with specific expertise in time-tracking tools, Jira, and/or similar; capable of converting non-financial tools into financial metrics.

• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Experience and confidence in collaborating with and influencing senior leaders.

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities, with a talent for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Aptitude for leveraging AI and participating in operational transformations.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.

• Demonstrates curiosity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit.

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach; remains composed under pressure and meets deadlines.
