Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results to budget while identifying risks and opportunities for planning.

• Take the lead and collaborate with essential stakeholders during the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting.

• Develop and deliver clear, concise financial dashboards and commentary for executive leadership and stakeholders.

• Promote and implement process enhancements.

• Create and maintain financial models to support scenario planning.

• Ensure the utmost accuracy and data integrity in all reports, dashboards, and commentaries.

• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to collect and verify financial and operational data that supports budgets, forecasts, and management reporting.

• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.

• 4-7 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance, or Accounting.

• Understanding of FP&A Principles, including financial planning, rolling forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.

• Knowledge of Accounting Literacy, including GAAP, general ledger structures, and the transition from debits and credits to financial statements.

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with budgeting systems such as Netsuite Planning and Budgeting, Anaplan, or Workday Adaptive Planning.

• Proven judgment and prioritization skills, including the ability to exercise sound business judgment, prioritize competing responsibilities, and handle confidential data discreetly.

• A strong desire to learn more about AI and its application in daily operations.
