This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports, encompassing P&L analysis, utilization trends, healthcare spending analysis, and gainshare/risk-share performance outcomes.
• Formulate financial narratives and suggestions for executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Create executive-ready summaries, presentations, dashboards, and perform ad hoc analyses.
• Track performance across health plan products and associated risk-bearing facilities.
• Manage facility-level risk agreement calculations and performance incentive reporting.
• Oversee the monthly capitation and membership reconciliation procedures.
• Examine variances, pinpoint root causes, and facilitate issue resolution.
• Analyze healthcare claims, medical expenditures, utilization patterns, and cost drivers.
• Assess accrual methodologies and aid in healthcare cost forecasting.
• Review denied claims, high-cost claims, and payment discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation for Part D funds-flow and assist in pharmacy and healthcare cost analysis.
• Monitor recoveries, recoupments, and adjustments to reimbursements.
• Support internal and external audits, financial schedules, documentation, and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate and analyze vendor data for accounting, reporting, and prefunding purposes.
• Assist with CMS-related financial reporting and compliance activities.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and cash-flow analysis.
• Aid in MLR reporting, Medicare Bid development, and CMS deliverables.
• Collaborate with Data Operations and Reporting teams to sustain financial and operational reporting.
• Offer strategic financial advice for growth initiatives and business planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a similar field.
• 2–5 years of applicable experience in financial analysis, healthcare finance, accounting, FP&A, analytics, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with large datasets and financial systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Capacity to convert data into actionable business insights.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Operations, Clinical, and business teams.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities at once.
• Preferred experience in healthcare finance, managed care, Medicare Advantage, value-based care, or risk-bearing organizations.
• Preferred experience with health plans, managed care organizations, provider groups, ACOs, IPAs, MSOs, or healthcare services organizations.
• Preferred knowledge of Medicare Advantage products, including I-SNP and C-SNP programs.
• Preferred experience analyzing healthcare claims, capitation agreements, utilization trends, MLR, and risk-based reimbursement models.
• Preferred familiarity with Part D financial reporting, healthcare cost accounting, and accrual methodologies.
• Preferred experience in supporting CMS reporting, Medicare Bid development, regulatory filings, or healthcare audits.
• Preferred experience with healthcare analytics, business intelligence tools, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar reporting platforms.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; the company cannot provide visa sponsorship.
