This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Guide and train financial analysts in their professional development.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of FP&A on all financial planning, analysis, and decision support functions across the offices served.
• Assess and prepare income statement variances, ensuring that explanations are clear, concise, and sufficiently detailed to clarify any discrepancies.
• Evaluate and monitor results related to year-over-year growth, profitability, and performance against budget and forecast across a wide array of metrics, supporting business and finance leaders while striving to enhance business performance.
• Review and prepare budgets and forecasts for the supported offices.
• Collaborate with office leaders to improve the financial analysis of the business, including the development and refinement of metrics and measures that provide senior leadership with clear, actionable insights into performance drivers.
• Cultivate and maintain robust working relationships with office leaders, Senior Financial Analysts, Accounting Centers of Excellence, and operational teams throughout the organization.
• Deliver both standard and ad hoc analyses; seek innovative methods to evaluate the business and enhance productivity.
• Review and prepare analyses, commentary, and presentation materials for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial review meetings.
• Assist with acquisition integration and due diligence processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and functional peers to support the implementation of new finance tools, including the Workday Adaptive Budget and Forecasting system, standardized Agency Management system, Risk Match, Carrier Scorecard analysis, and other technology initiatives across Arrowhead Specialty.
• Aid in month-end accruals as needed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• At least 5+ years of experience in an analyst position.
• Proven experience in delivering projects and initiatives that yield measurable financial outcomes with an emphasis on driving organic growth.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI is preferred but not essential.
