• As the Global Services Cash Leader, you will take charge of overseeing financial planning and analysis (FP&A) related to billings and collections across all Global Services regions.
• This position entails managing key planning cycles, performance management, and driving analytics and operational enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
• You will lead a worldwide team of cash leaders, each accountable for services cash in their respective areas.
• Your success will be evaluated through both quantitative metrics (e.g., on-time billing rates and timely payments) and qualitative factors (e.g., stakeholder satisfaction and operational effectiveness).
• Lead annual negotiations and updates of financial plans, which include Blueprints, Budget, Op Plan, and Long-Range Forecast.
• Oversee sub-documents such as performance management reports and external reporting, including those for Investor Relations.
• Establish and manage additional financial structures (e.g., regional billing and collections pacing).
• Modify financial strategies alongside regional teams based on potential opportunities and oversee approval processes.
• Review and manage contractual terms related to cash collection and support negotiations with clients.
• Coordinate and educate both internal and external stakeholders to implement go-to-market financial strategies.
• Assist regional teams in clarifying customer value and understanding financial baseline packages.
• Create supporting materials beyond financial reports to empower regional and cross-functional teams.
• Provide customer-facing support as necessary to reinforce the financial value proposition.
• Influence executive-level decisions across regions to ensure alignment and success.
• Collaborate with assigned GE Vernova Business Units (BU) to formulate business plans that contribute to the development of a world-class GE Vernova.
• Shape business strategic directions using insights from industry and market trends.
• Define and enhance standard financial packages for inclusion with regional and other BUs.
• Develop, negotiate, and publish key revenue, orders, and joint business metrics targets for financial agreements.
• Ensure accountability for achieving or surpassing established financial targets.
• Recruit, manage, and develop a small, high-performing team to support strategic financial partnerships.
• Foster cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration.
• Provide outstanding leadership and promote the Vernova Way—particularly the principle of One Team.
• Drive and expand the introduction of new technologies and process efficiencies with strategic partners (e.g., Accenture, Power BI).
• Identify opportunities to scale standardized financial scopes and projects across new regions and business units.
• Bachelor’s Degree with approximately 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in leading team members.
• Proven capability to build strong, collaborative relationships across various business units.
• Experience in leading significant strategic financial deals from initial engagement through to signed contracts.
• A record of surpassing financial targets and partner development objectives.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments or the Energy sector.
• Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail regarding deal terms and contracts.
