Senior Finance Manager – Head of Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• We are seeking a Head of Finance to design and implement our financial framework.

• As we expand, we require a versatile Finance leader who can ensure our financial infrastructure is robust while crafting the strategic roadmap for our upcoming growth phase.

• You will report directly to the COO and collaborate closely with the leadership team, making a significant contribution to our finance strategy.

• You will oversee the accounting function and take complete responsibility for our financial records.

• Implement a rigorous process to ensure our financial books are precise and ready for audit by Business Day 10.

• Coordinate with external tax and accounting partners to guarantee smooth submission of Annual Accounts, VAT, R&D tax credits, and more.

• Act as the designer of our finance stack, enhancing the flow of money and data throughout the organization.

• Develop and sustain the multi-year financial model essential for our next fundraising effort.

• You possess a solid background in Finance and this is not your first experience in the field.

• The "Controller" Mindset: You can identify a reconciliation error from afar and take pride in maintaining accurate financial records.

• The "Architect" Skillset: You not only use finance software; you also configure it. You understand how to integrate systems for a seamless data flow.

• The "Modeller" Brain: You are capable of constructing a multi-year integrated financial model that withstands scrutiny from venture capitalists.

• Qualifications: CIMA/ACCA/ACA (or equivalent - fully completed).
